In March 2010, President Obama signed into law sweeping health care reform changes. The changes affect employer-sponsored health plans. Many of the changes become effective beginning with the first plan year after September 23, 2010. For calendar year plans, the effective date is January 1, 2011.
Over the past few weeks, the Department of Health and Human Services, the Department of Labor and the Department of Treasury have issued guidance concerning many aspects of the health care reform changes.
In this Webinar, we will discuss the health care reform changes and the recent guidance with an emphasis on the issues that employers need to consider in order to implement the changes.
