On September 20, Susan Huntington presented during an educational call-in discussion, "Insurance and Coverage Risk Management Approaches to Address the Opioid Crisis," for the American Health Lawyers Association (AHLA). The call examined how the liability insurance industry is addressing the emerging litigation and government enforcement activities surrounding the opioid crisis. Huntington explored what managed care and pharmacy benefit manager industries are doing to mitigate their risks associated with the opioid crisis.
