Beth Barton to Speak at CPES Event on Transmission

On September 9, Day Pitney will host an event entitled called, "Competitive Transmission," which is co-sponsored by The Connecticut Power and Energy Society (CPES) and New England Women in Energy and the Environment (NEWIEE). Beth Barton, a NEWIEE Board member, will moderate a panel discussion among Tracy Babbidge of the Connecticut Department of Energy and the Environment (DEEP), Phyllis Lemell of Eversource Energy, and Sharon Segner of LS Power Development. The panel will discuss competitive processes and opportunities in New England following the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission's issuance of its Order on Transmission Planning and Cost Allocation (Order 1000).
