Day Pitney Presents 40 Women for the Next 40 Years in Partnership with CWEALF

On May 15, 2014, Day Pitney and the Connecticut Women's Education and Legal Fund (CWEALF) presented "40 Women for the Next 40 Years: a celebration of CWEALF's 40th Anniversary and Future Women Leaders" at the Pond House in Hartford, Connecticut. The 40 awardees, including Day Pitney attorney Jennifer Galiette, were selected for their demonstrated exemplary leadership, the potential to excel and a commitment to their community. Awardees were selected from the following categories: General Workforce, Government, Law, Nonprofit/Community, Education, Public Policy, and Teens. Day Pitney attorney Flossie Davis served on the selection committee.

Over 150 guests were in attendance, including Day Pitney attorneys Jennifer Galiette, Matthew Shiroma, Sebastian Lombardi, Patrick Gerity, Tiana Gianopulos, Richard Wasserman, Michael Miller, Harold Blinderman, Beth Barton, Elizabeth Retersdorf, Keegan Drenosky, Joseph Scully, Director of Professional Development Lori Johnson, and Director of Diversity Asker A. Saeed, who delivered remarks on behalf of the firm.
