Beth Sher Speaks at Seton Hall Law Review Symposium
October 1, 2014
Beth Sher was an invited speaker at the Seton Hall Law Review Symposium on "The Art of Advocacy" on October 1. The program featured three panels related to advocacy: Representing Your Client Zealously While Abiding the Ethical Imperative, Effective Oral Advocacy, and Effective Written Advocacy. Beth spoke about written advocacy, using highlights from the legal writing workshops she teaches at the Firm. The keynote speaker at the dinner was Hon. Jaynee LaVecchia (New Jersey Supreme Court), who offered priceless advice and insights about advocacy before judicial tribunals.
In addition, Beth returned with greetings to all from Stephanie Pisko, Editor-in-Chief of the Law Review and a 2014 summer apprentice who will be returning to the Firm in 2016 following her clerkship with Justice LaVecchia.
