On March 20, 2014, Day Pitney was a sponsor of the Pathways to Leadership for Women Lawyers Ladder Award ceremony presented by the Women in the Law Section in association with the Young Lawyers Section of the Connecticut Bar Association. The evening's keynote speaker was Teresa Younger, Executive Director of the Permanent Commission on the Status of Women. The Ladder Award recipient was Nada K. Sizemore, Associate Group General Counsel, Travelers Insurance. The event was well-attended by members of the bar and law students, including Day Pitney's Marie Bertrand, Catherine Cuggino, Jill Danielson, Dan Fitzmaurice, Stacy Smith Walsh, and Richard Wasserman and various clients and friends of the firm.
