On April 24, 2013, Day Pitney was a sponsor of the NCCJ Annual Human Relations Awards Banquet in Hartford, Connecticut. Awards were given to Andy Bessette, Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer of The Travelers Companies, Inc.; Pat Meiser, Director of Athletics at the University of Hartford; JoAnn Price, co-founder and Managing Director of Fairview Capital; and Susan Rottner, Retired President of Bank of America. Multiple youth awards were also awarded.

More than 500 guests attended the event, including Day Pitney attorneys Marie Bertrand, Rene Ortega, Dan FitzMaurice, Jim Sicilian, Director of Diversity Asker Saeed and a client of the firm.
