Job Description:
The Systems Engineer will implement, maintain, and support our organization's network and server infrastructure. Collaborating closely with IT management and other teams, the Systems Engineer will ensure our enterprise network systems' efficient operation, security, and reliability. This position is part of a 5-person engineering team that demonstrate strong technical skills and the ability to execute creative solutions.
Job Requirements:
- Comprehensive experience with the Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops
- Hands-on experience supporting Citrix ADM, PVS and Storefront systems
- Strong technical expertise in network design, implementation, and troubleshooting across LAN, WAN, wireless, and data center networks (Cisco, Meraki)
- Experience with Enterprise-class firewalls (Checkpoint)
- In-depth knowledge of network protocols, security best practices, and network management tools (Solarwinds, Logic Monitor, Varonis)
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange as well as Microsoft Office 365
- Must be familiar with building and maintaining a virtual server environment using Microsoft Hyper-V or Citrix XenServer
- Knowledge of CommVault, Veritas Backup Exec, and Veritas Enterprise Vault
- Participate in rotational after hours level 3 on-call support program and provide off-hours support for upgrades, scheduled downtimes and preventative maintenance as needed
- ISO 27001 Certification process knowledge is preferable but not required
