Marketing Technology Specialist - Parsippany, NJ; Hartford, CT

The Marketing Technology Specialist will leverage his/her technical, analytical, and marketing skills to support the firm in executing business development and online marketing initiatives. The candidate will ensure the meticulous execution of all projects and work, particularly with data and content, ensuring it is consistently accurate and well presented. The Marketing Technology Specialist is expected to perform all responsibilities with a commitment to providing superior service to Day Pitney's attorneys, clients and staff. They will also maintain a collegial atmosphere that values teamwork and continuous improvement.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

CRM:

  • Support ongoing maintenance of the firm's CRM system, ensuring data integrity by verifying, researching and validity of data changes, and communicating with attorneys and staff regarding data updates and standards
  • Complete ongoing assigned data maintenance such as contact merging, duplicate resolution and cleansing of outdated or incorrect information
  • Generate mailing/marketing lists and run reports and searches as needed
  • Administration of CRM user and admin security
  • Serve as a point of contact for internal clients including troubleshooting and ad hoc training

Email Marketing:

  • Conduct email campaign setup, targeting, data monitoring, scheduling, tracking, testing and deployment
  • Analyze campaign results and make recommendations based on campaign performance insights to aid in department's strategic plan

Website Maintenance:

  • Oversee the day-to-day content management and operations of daypitney.com adhering to firm standards for content postings
  • Assist the Sr. Marketing Technology Specialist in search engine optimization and web analytics

Other:

  • Update and maintain policy and procedure documents in accordance to current operations documenting optimized processes as opportunities and deficiencies are addressed
  • Act as backup for the Marketing Technology, Marketing and Business Development team members, assuming additional responsibilities as requested

Required Skills:

  • Ability to work concurrently on a variety of projects and requests, follow instructions and complete job assignments in an accurate and timely manner, with a sense of urgency and a solutions-oriented approach to ensure user satisfaction

  • Ability to identify the need to shift priorities and flexibility to manage such shift

Required Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree
  • Minimum of 2+ years marketing experience
  • Advanced-level proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word
  • Familiarity with web technologies, analytics and CRM tools and graphic design, including basic HTML coding
  • Experience in the legal or professional services industry a plus
