The Employment & Labor Business Unit is seeking a staff attorney for its Employment Litigation practice in the Stamford Office. Candidate should have experience in representation of employers in all aspects of employment litigation and counseling, including familiarity with issues arising under ADA, ADEA, Equal Pay Act, FLSA, FMLA, Sarbanes-Oxley, Title VII, WARN and corresponding state law statutes. Candidate should be able to take a litigation matter from initial investigation, through pleadings, discovery and trial preparation. Candidate should have experience defending charges before the CHRO and EEOC. This position is ideally suited for an experienced attorney without partner-track expectations, and has the potential for part-time or full-time employment for the right candidate. Candidate should possess law firm experience, as well as excellent academic credentials, research skills, and written and oral communication skills.
