Robert "Rob" Pollock, a commercial litigator, represents national banks, mortgage lenders and servicers, and other financial servicing companies in litigation, transactional and regulatory matters with an emphasis on commercial litigation, foreclosures and bankruptcy proceedings. Specifically, he represents lenders and financial institutions in disputes related to lending practices, loan origination, debt collection practices, loan servicing and deceptive business practices. His practice includes the defense of claims arising under the Truth in Lending Act, Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act, Equal Credit Opportunity Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act and Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, as well as state and common law claims.
Rob was formerly an assistant prosecutor, from 2002-2013, with the Somerset County Prosecutor's Office, where he conducted numerous criminal trials. During his time with the prosecutor's office, Rob supervised several investigative and legal groups, such as the Organized Crime and Narcotics Task Force, the Counter-Terrorism Unit, the Domestic Violence Unit and the Civil Forfeiture Unit.
