Professional Experience

Mr. Norton is counsel in the firm's Intellectual Property department. Mr. Norton's practice is concentrated in the areas of patent prosecution, licensing, opinion drafting, and litigation in the fields of pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, medical devices, electronics and appliance manufacturing, printing, and telecommunications and Internet technology.

Mr. Norton is fluent in Japanese and speaks frequently in Japan on the topic of U.S. patent law.
