Day Pitney Partners Named "Leading Lawyers for Business" by Chambers USA 2009

Day Pitney announced today that 39 partners have been ranked as leaders in their fields in Chambers & Partners' Chambers USA 2009. The rankings evaluated partners and practice areas on a national level and on a regional level in Connecticut, New Jersey, and New York.

Six practices received the number one ranking in their respective regions and 16 practice areas were recognized overall. Two practice areas - Franchising and Wealth Management - received national recognition, as did four Day Pitney attorneys.

The Chambers USA 2009 rankings are based on more than 14,000 in-depth, unbiased interviews from clients across the United States. According to Chambers & Partners, both clients and attorneys were interviewed by a team of more than 40 full-time researchers over a period of six months, with greater weight given to the opinions of the clients. The qualities on which the rankings are assessed include technical legal ability, professional conduct, client service, commercial awareness, diligence, commitment and other qualities most valued by clients.
