Day Pitney LLP is pleased to announce that trusts and estates partner Keith Bradoc "Brad" Gallant has been recognized by
Worth magazine as one of the "Top 100 Attorneys" in the United States for the fourth consecutive year. The honor is bestowed upon attorneys for their representation of individual clients' assets.
The "Top 100 Attorneys" list, now in its fourth year, is based on extensive research and analysis, including client interviews, according to the magazine. Mr. Gallant is one of just three Connecticut lawyers to be recognized by the wealth management publication.
"At Day Pitney, we pride ourselves on putting clients first," Mr. Gallant said. "This recognition acknowledges the firm's commitment to delivering unsurpassed legal services in the areas of estate planning and administration and probate litigation."
Mr. Gallant is a partner in the firm's New Haven, CT office. His practice includes traditional trust and estate planning and administration, special needs and disabilities planning, planning for same-sex couples and their families, planning for incapacity, and all types of probate litigation.
Mr. Gallant is also currently involved in the legislative effort to permit people to create trusts for the benefit of their pets, something that is already allowed in other states.
Mr. Gallant is the immediate past chair of the Estates and Probate Section of the Connecticut Bar Association (CBA). He also serves on the executive committee of the CBA's Elder Law Section, and is a member of the CBA's Animal Law Committee. He was elected a fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel(ACTEC) in 1993 and serves on ACTEC's Fiduciary Litigation and Elder Law Committees. He is also the ACTEC representative to the National Guardianship Network, an association of legal organizations dedicated to improving adult guardianships in the United States and a member of the ACTEC Asset Protection Committee.
In 2006, Mr. Gallant was named one of the "Top 10" lawyers in all practice areas in Connecticut by
Connecticut Magazine.
