Michael G. Considine Nominated to be Connecticut's Next U.S. Attorney

Day Pitney confirmed recent press reports that Stamford Partner Michael G. Considine, head of the firm's White Collar Defense and Internal Investigation practice group, has been nominated by President Bush to serve as Connecticut's next U.S. Attorney. Considine, whose practice at Day Pitney includes complex criminal investigations, prosecutions, regulatory inquiries and associated civil litigations, served as deputy chief in the U.S. attorney's office in the eastern district of New York, before entering into private practice. Considine's nomination, which has the support of U.S. Rep. Christopher Shays, R-4th, District, needs to be confirmed by the Senate.
