Eric Fader was quoted in an article, "Electronic Health Records Rise Above Harvey's Floodwaters," published in Bloomberg BNA's Health Care Daily Report. The article discusses how the widespread adoption of electronic health records (EHRs) in the greater Houston area has helped local healthcare providers continue to support displaced patients and providers in the wake of Hurricane Harvey's destruction.  Fader said EHRs and cloud storage provide necessary remote access and interoperability, as well as protection from natural disasters. He added, "Healthcare provider clients of mine had their paper records destroyed when Hurricane Sandy flooded lower Manhattan and it was a real wake-up call to other providers in the area, and I'm sure the same thing will happen in Harvey's aftermath."
