Mark Morgan co-wrote an article for The Huffington Post that discusses Egypt's need for freedom of information legislation that guarantees citizens access to information about their government's dealings. Mark notes that "meaningful government accountability" is necessary for the country to achieve sustainable democracy. Egypt should look to other nations, he writes, which can offer "valuable lessons" on how to proceed in this regard. The article was adapted from a presentation Mark gave at the ABA's Spring Meeting in New York in April.
